Where Are They Now: Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg - Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told Album Cover

Snoop Dogg released three commercially and mostly critically successful albums on No Limit Records before leaving the label after his “Tha Last Meal” LP in 2000. Since then, he’s dropped 14 solo albums, including reggae and gospel projects, on his way to becoming arguably the most recognizable rapper of all time. The Snoop rebrand is legendary. From cooking shows with Martha Stewart to sneakers by Skechers, the Dogg can be seen pitching any product you can think of—including cereal, which Q and I tried. Not bad, but the name “Snoop Cereal” is a miss, especially when “Snoop Loops” was RIGHT THERE!

Snoop received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018, and in a full-circle moment in 2022, he acquired his old label, Death Row Records. Yes, Snoop now owns the label he used to call home. Crazy, right?
